La gráfica, la tinta y las acuarelas del artista de Monterrey, México, René Almanza quien ha titulado su colección bajo el nombre de "Stranger", creó una serie erótica y al mismo tiempo una novela gráfica futurística creada a lápiz y acuarelas. Stranger se basa en ser un “Extraño” un extranjero, residente alien, en casa, un visitante, o intruso, una persona o una cosa que no se sabe de donde proviene...

Ya hemos estado posteando previews del trabajo del mexicano Rene Almanza de su próxima exposición en Gerrish Fine Art en Londres, Draws of Perception con 1001 dibujos y ha sido movida a Shop 12, Dray Walk, and The Old Truman Brewery en Londres y abrirá el 4 de julio del 2012.

El artista de Monterrey, NL, Rene Almanza, quien ha mostrado su trabajo en San Francisco en los últimos años, estará exhibiendo 1001 dibujos, todos con una medida de 15 cm x 15 cm en Gerrish Fine Art en Londres, este martes 19 de junio del 2012. Almanza se encuentra viviendo actualmente en Londres, preparando su extensivo colección de obras. Drawn of Perseption es la exposición con más obras que ha hecho el artista.

El artista de Monterrey, México, Rene Almanza, quien ha enseñado su trabajo en la galería FIFTY24MX de la Ciudad de México y en muchas más en la ciudad de San Francisco CA, estará exhibiendo 1001 dibujos hechos con tinta, todos con una medida de 15cm X 15 cm.

Monterrey, Mexico-based fine artist, Rene Almanza, will be opening a new body of work, Stranger, at San Francisco's FIFTY24SF Gallery this Thursday, September 29. The exhibition features a new collection of erotic and at times futuristic graphic novel styled pencil and watercolor work. 

Rene Almanza is a Mexico-based artist (featured in our October 2010 issue) whose beautifully frantic linework work exudes urgency, passion, and agitation. He is currently working with the Spanish publishing house Sirpus, in conjunction with the linguisticts department of the Colegio de México, to create a series of illustrated bilingual books on the history of the Zapoteca and the Oaxacan peoples.

FIFTY24MX Gallery in Mexico City just opened their Minimart collective show with original artwork and limited edition prints from more than 20 international and local artists, including Alex Pardee, Charles Glaubitz, Sam Flores, Ericailcane, Rene Almanza, Saner, and Neck Face.
