Richard Phillips has a trend buidling. First a "Lindsay Lohan" short film, now "Sasha Grey." This, along with Phillip’s first short film, “Lindsay Lohan,” will be included in "Commercial Break," presented by the Garage Center for Contemporary Culture, Venice, Italy, June 1 - 5, 2011, concurrent with the 54th international exhibition of the Venice Biennale.

We have been waiting to see the trailer for filmmaker, artist, and writer Miranda July's newest film, "The Future," and finally this morning we got a surprise and found it. July's follow-up to her critically acclaimed "Me and You and Everyone We Know" looks again to be an interesting bit of original writing and concept.

One of our founders and photography editors, CR Stecyk III, played director of photography on this video, "Street, 2011," a video for MOCA documenting the Barry McGee, Todd James, Steve Powers installation in "Art In the Streets." Felipe Lima, a great filmmaker, directed the piece.

Neckface and Isaiah Seret just released a trailer for the new action-horror-ninja-super villain Neckface short film, "Born Under a Bad Sign," that was made in the artist's installation at MOCA's "Art In the Streets." From the looks of this trailer, it looks pretty well-made, considering it spoofs action-horror-ninja-super villain movies.

Video: Yasumasa “Yone” Yonehara Studio Visit in Tokyo, Japan

In the summer of 2009, Juxtapoz visited the Tokyo studio of famed Japanese photographer, Yasumasa “Yone” Yonehara for a feature that appeared in the magazine. We took a bunch of photos, but also shot a video in Super 8 that, after a few years, got developed.

Ground Release just posted a video on the process of a large-scale wall being painted by Roids, Soten, Towns, Opium, Score, and Kem5. As Ground Release states, “On Monday the 2nd of May 2011, 7 international artists headed to Koge in Denmark to collaborate on our European foundation project hosted by Ground Release.

Using paper collage and stop motion, Laura Junger and Xavier Xylophon created a video called "Joy of Destruction," a film about "the human drive to destroy and the absurd entertaining value that's attached to it."
