Kevin Titzer makes some amazingly bizarre sculptures, the kinds that make you feel uncomfortable and inspired at the same time. He is currently showing through this weekend at Thinkspace Gallery in their Project Room, and we caught up with the artist with a few Back Talkisms.

On May 13, illustrator Ken Garduno will be in Culver City's WWA Gallery's group show, All the Little Sorid Details, along with Jacob Livengood, Dan Barry, Jesse Hotchkiss, David Ball, and William Buzzell. We spoke with Ken through Back Talk.

Jacub Gagnon is one of Toronto’s great emerging artists in the new contemporary movement. He graduated in 2009 and holds a BFA specialized in Drawing & Painting from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD) in Toronto, Canada. He is showing at Thinkspace Gallery in Culver City starting April, 30.

Yosuke Ueno comes from Japan but might be from another planet. His themes are very cosmic and he's also known as SpaceEgg77. His palette of colors is otherworldly and his themes range from Anne Frank looking down on earth from the heavens to cosmic ducks and magic mushrooms. Bizarre, surreal and thought provoking, conjuring images from another galaxy are words that come to mind. A conversation after the jump . .  .

Working primarily with acrylics on canvas, David MacDowell is not afraid of tapping into the dark side of American media worship. He tops off celebrity renderings sprinkled with crying babies, candy colored nightmares, and a hilariously acidic sense of humor. Some have called his work a virtual “Disneyland on acid”. Timothy Karpinski, who runs Together Gallery in Portland, Oregon, is currently showing This Is Forver with Dan-ah Kim at Thinkspace Gallery. He likes building forts, damming streams, skateboarding, and making art. And he is a Pices. Back Talk after the jump . . .

Melbourne, Australia based, Indonesian born illustrator, Eveline Tarunadjaja, will be making her way to Culver City, California and Thinkspace Gallery for a exhibition in the gallery's Project Room, opening Saturday, April 9.
