UK-based Emma Tooth, who has shown in the past with Lazarides Gallery, will be part of Thinkspace Gallery's Picks of the Harvest 2012 group show opening March 3 in Culver City. The exhibition will feature numerous artists Thinkspace has had their eye on over the past year exhibited alongside new works from several of our regular Thinkspace family members, and we were able to have a conversation with Emma on a wide-ranging of topics, including Japan, Oscar Wilde, and Joanna Newsom.

Her work explores images of adolescence as metaphors for larger themes of ethos and wonder and has been featured in such publications as Rolling Stone, Spin, GQ and various others.

An icon of Harajuku Kawaii culture and the founder of %6DOKIDOKI, Sebastian Masuda is one of the most recognized figures of cutting-edge Japanese pop culture. In 2009, he created and directed the “Harajuku Kawaii Experience,” a world-tour fashion show and talk show event, drawing more than 40,000 fans to the event in San Francisco. This December in Los Angeles, he will launch the world debut of RUNE BOUTIQUE with MEDICOM TOY.
