Recientemente el fotógrafo Jamie Hawkesworth logró capturar algunas imágenes de este enigmático artista en su estudio en Beijing para la revista AnOther, y el resultado es asombroso. Cada composición es clara, simple, apesar de las circunstancias severas en las que se encuentra Ai Weiwei.

Que buena forma de terminar el año. El artista Elliott Arkin, ha creado una escultura de mármol sobre una base de roble del famoso activista y artista chino, Ai Weiwei. La escultura titulada 1/1,000,000,000, refiriéndose a la población china, mide unos 15 centímetros y su edición es de 100. La pieza en si fue hecha en honor a la serie de fotos donde Ai sale haciendo esa seña a monumentos como la Casa Blanca y a la Plaza de Tian’anmen.
