Our Winter 2020 cover is now a mural! JR, who has recently been on a phenomenal run, has just finisheed a mural in Domino Park, Brooklyn that coincides with his interactive ode to NYC as part of his Brooklyn Museum retrospective, JR: Chronicles

Just as JR did in San Francisco with his interactive mural now at SFMOMA, JR documented through photographs and interviews the lives of over 1,000 New Yorkers from all 5 boroughs. The end result is the centerpiece of the show at the Brooklyn Museum, the a detail view we used on the cover of Juxtapoz. As the Museum noted today, "A monumental public mural featuring JR’s latest work, The Chronicles of New York City, is on view in Domino Park, Williamsburg, Brooklyn. JR’s murals are also on view at Kings Theatre in Flatbush and the Brooklyn Academy of Global Finance in Bedford-Stuyvesant, with more planned for the run of the exhibition."
