Spoke Art are thrilled to present THE BIG SHOW, a ten year retrospective exhibition from prolific artist, author and video game art director, Scott Campbell, better known simply as Scott C. THE BIG SHOW is Scott C.’s first exhibition in New York since 2015 and includes artwork from a decade’s worth of projects, books, video games, movies and more, all in the artist’s unmistakable style that has garnered admiration far beyond the art world. Scott C.’s skill with watercolors is a testament to his talent, distilling beloved characters and creations while never missing the details that make them unforgettable.
Showcasing over 100 watercolor paintings that have never been exhibited, this retrospective is a love letter to everyone with a youthful imagination and appreciation for the world around us. Original imaginative artwork featuring anthropomorphized creatures, and paintings inspired by blockbuster films such as Jurassic Park, Beetlejuice, and Back to the Future will be on display, as well as a tightly curated selection of paintings from Scott’s beloved books: SKULLS!, XO OX: A Love Story, Hug Machine and an exclusive preview offering from his upcoming graphic novel series Cabin Head and Tree Head (to be released via Tundra, September 2025).
