Much of Juxtapoz's history is tied to the customization of hot rods and car culture. Big Daddy Roth, Von Dutch, Robert Williams... cars played a major role in our early years. That is why we got super excited when we saw one of our favorite brands, Aimé Leon Dore, team up with Porsche on this one-of-a-kind, 1990 Porsche 911 "ALD 964" edition.

To celebrate the collaboration (and the late 80s, early 90s Carrera has always been a favorite of ours), ALD and Porsche will showcase the 911 Carrera 4 964 at Jeffrey Deitch Gallery in SoHo from February 6—9, 2020. As Hypebeast noted today: Painted the same shade of white as the storefront of ALD’s Mulberry flagship, the vehicle boasts a Schott leather trunk, custom-made “ALD 694” grill badge, rear ducktail spoiler and Pegasus graphic detail above the front wheel. In a press statement, ALD’s founder Teddy Santis explains that the car’s design synthesizes “many of the values that connect Porsche and Aimé — simplicity, ambition, tradition, and beauty.”
