As we announced earlier this week, Juxtapoz has teamed with a group of Ukraine-based artists, curated by our friend Waone, to create a series of prints to benefit people on the ground in the country effected by the continued war. You can see and purchase the prints here: https://shop.juxtapoz.com/prints.html

Over the next few weeks, we will be speaking with various artists who contributed, and today we speak with Rita Maikova to discuss her beautiful The Kiss print that you can purchase here

Evan Pricco: Rita, tell me about "The Kiss."
Rita Maikova: I came up with the basis for the idea of this painting when I was traveling in India.  I talk about the merging of everything into one, and I reveal this process through a kiss. The kiss is a point of contact between two worlds that create universal harmony in interaction with each other.

What have you been able to, I hate to say it this way, but take in over the past month?
I affirmed simple, understandable things, always, in case of any obstruction, you need to stay human, an empath, and try to go into dialogue with an open heart.

You can purchase the prints at https://shop.juxtapoz.com/prints.html
