Whether marching, glued to the news or just plain feeling activated, it is impossible to escape the feeling that a particular time has come. And for some of us, the dialogue becomes "where to begin and what else can I do?" San Francisco and New York City based Hashimoto Contemporary, in concert with artist Chris Martin, are now offering two prints for sale through Sunday, June 7th, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Black Lives Matter sanctioned efforts.
A multi-media talent, Chris Martin attended North Carolina A&T, a historically black college geared to STEM education, that honed his strong skills in graphic design. His discerning eye could not only be seen and felt in hand-cut and sewn banners, but in an ability to condense emotion into potent symbology.
Each 16" by 20" inch print, Don’t Cross Us and Closed Fist, is signed and numbered and currently for $25 apiece, or both for $40. The prints are available here.
