La Luz de Jesus Gallery’s exhibition Measure Twice Cut Once, an exhibition celebrating the varietal medium of collage, that opens this Friday, November 8th at 4633 Hollywood Blvd, Los Angeles. Over 50 artists fill the walls and floors of the gallery with fun and unusual works. The gallery's curation aimed to stretch the public’s understanding of collage as something beyond busy compositions that look like conspiracy boards that are only missing red string. The artists exhibiting approach collage with the same finesse and intention all pop surrealists do.
Opening reception is November 8th, from 7pm to 10pm at La Luz de Jesus Gallery. Free admission to the public. Exhibition closes December 1st, 2024.
