As mailboxes are starting to get filled with April 2012 issues of Juxtapoz, we think it may be time to make our announcement of the issue. In honor of his longtime friend, and legendary artist, we have a special piece on the legacy of Big Daddy Roth and his infamous Rat Fink character. As we embark on our 18th year as a print publication, we wanted to give a historical perspective of one of our earliest inspirations.

The March 2012 issue of Juxtapoz, featuring Andrew Schoultz on the cover, is now on newsstands and on our webstore. In a weird way, this issue began on the shores of Norway and ended in a desert in Tucson, Arizona, and found itself in the SFMoMA and in a studio in Miami, Florida. And we followed filmmaker, author, and performance artist Miranda July as she released her newest book, It Chooses You. Full preview after the jump . . .

We welcome the calendar year that is 2012 with the February 2012 issue of Juxtapoz, n133 on the record books. On the cover is Australian fine artist and painter, Jeremy Geddes, an artist that we feel needs no introduction from his brilliant work capturing both astronauts and everyday people in wonderful states of floatation in urban spaces. Geddes' friend, Ashley Wood (featured in November 2011), handles the interview.
